Croatian Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia Ivan Kujundžić handed today, 6 December 2005, his credentials to Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski, thereby officially assuming the duty of the Croatian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Macedonia
During the ceremonial handing of the credentials, President Crvenkovski expressed his great satisfaction with the exceptionally good relations and co-operation between Croatia and Macedonia, as well as with the announced intensification of the cooperation in various areas and joint appearance in the region.
President Crvenkovski especially stressed the importance of the economic co-operation, due to the two countries’ traditional economic complementariness, pointing that out as a special priority in the bilateral co-operation.
Talking about the two countries’ process of approaching the Euro-Atlantic integration, President Crvenkovski congratulated Croatia on opening the accession negotiations with the EU.
