State Secretary at the MFAEI Hido Biščević received to a farewell visit Philippine Ambassador to Croatia Victor G. Garcia III

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the high level of the relations between the two countries without any outstanding issues, pointing out, however, that the potential for co-operation in economy, science and culture has not been exploited enough. Both sides welcomed the planned high level visits, to be realised during the next year, which will surely contribute to the further improvement of the mutual relations.

Ambassador Garcia III congratulated Croatia on the opening of the accession negotiations with the EU. State Secretary Biščević informed him in short about the activities that lay await Croatia in acceding to the Euro-Atlantic integrations and about the relations between Croatia and the neighbouring countries.
