The Republic of Croatia Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, Madey, handed in Erevan on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Kocharian

The Armenian side showed interest in Croatia's situation, particularly in the process of Croatia's joining the Euro-Atlantic integrations, as well as in the relations with the neighbouring countries and co-operation in the region.

For the purpose of improving the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Armenia economy co-operation, of avoiding the double-taxation, improving the international transport and the cultural and educational co-operation, it was arranged to speed up the negotiations on several legal instruments. The two sides agreed to hold soon political consultations of the Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry's and the Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry's high officials, in order to exchange information on important political issues.
