The Initiative encompasses more than 60 countries that contribute in various way to the development within strong international co-operation of new means of preventing the proliferation of WMDs, at sea, in the air, or on land.
The countries taking part in the Initiative focus on quick, direct and practical measures in preventing the proliferation of WMDs and related materials.
The Republic of Croatia strongly supports the PSI and the Proliferation Prevention Principles, and will, in accordance with its capabilities and in co-operation with the partner countries, take active part in its activities directed at fighting international terrorism.
At the ceremony in Washington, the Republic of Croatia is being represented by Tomislav Vidošević, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
