Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received today, 25 April 2005, to a farewell visit the Budapest-seated Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to the Republic of Croatia, Guillermo Russo Checa
Minister Grabar-Kitarović thanked Ambassador Russo Checa for his contribution to the development to mutual relations between Croatia and Peru, hoping for a further growth of co-operation, especially in agreement regulations. Both sides emphasized the importance of Croatian community in Peru, that takes part in managing several important branches of Peruan economy and can serve as a bridge of co-operation between the two countries in the field of economy.
Ambassador Checa thanked Minister Grabar-Kitarović for the reception and expressed full support to Croatia’s road to the EU.
Minister Grabar-Kitarović wished Ambassador Checa success in his future career and as a token of gratitude and remembrance of Croatia presented him with a book on Zagreb.
