Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul is visiting Vienna today, 11 February 2005, for consultations regarding the start of the activities of the Panel of Eminent Persons, the highest OSCE advisory body
A week ago, Minister Žužul was appointed to a seven-member body, the Panel of Eminent Persons, whose task is to review the challenges that lie ahead, give new incentive to the political dialogue and form a strategic vision for OSCE in the 21st century. Apart from Miomir Žužul, members of the Panel of Eminent Persons include: Nikolaj Afanasjevski from the Russian Federation, Hans van den Broek from the Kingdom of Netherlands, Wilhelm Hoeynck from the Federal Republic of Germany, Kuanysh Sultanov from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Knut Vollebaek from the Kingdom of Norway and Richard Williamson from the U. S.
Minister Žužul is visiting Vienna today as a special guest at the traditional OSCE reception and ceremony, at the invitation from OSCE Secretary General Jan Kubiš.
