Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul presented to the press today, 20 January 2005, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Economic Diplomacy Studies at the Academy of the MFA, and handed the students their education contracts
The minister held a speech on the role of the economy in Croatia’s diplomacy and foreign policy, saying that it is Croatia’s goal to achieve economic growth, where personnel trained in economic diplomacy will play an important role.
The Principal of the Academy, Petar Turčinović, spoke of the Economic Diplomacy Studies and told the press that 404 candidates applied to the public competition, of which 28 were selected after the testing, 24 of them having already signed the contract.
