State Secretary for Political Affairs Hido Biščević received Pavel Svoboda, Chairman of the Committee for European Integrations of the Czech Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies, who is heading the Czech parliamentary delegation on a working visit to Croatia
Biščević and Svoboda exchanged opinions about Croatia’s activities pending the start of the membership negotiations with the EU, bilateral relations with the neighbouring countries and the development of the situation in that part of Europe.
The two expressed mutual satisfaction with the bilateral relation between the Republic of Croatia and Czech Republic. Chairman Svoboda confirmed Czech Republic’s support to Croatia’s joining the EU and expressed the willingness to share its experiences.
