Croatian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Egypt, Ivica Tomić, handed in Rijad his credentials to King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as Croatia’s first non-residential ambassador to Saudi Arabia
During his stay in Saudi Arabia, ambassador Tomić met with the officials of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and discussed the possibility of signing bilateral agreements in the field of economy and future mutual visits by Croatian and Saudi Arabian high officials.
Ambassador Tomić also visited the Saudi Arabian Chamber of Commerce, whom he handed the draft of the Agreement on co-operation between Croatian and Saudi Arabian chambers of commerce. The Saudi Arabian side expressed their wish for the Saudi businessmen to visit Croatia led by the Saudi minister of trade and industry.
