Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul left today, 30 August 2004, for the United States. Mr Žužul was invited by the Republican party to head the Croatian delegation at the party’s National Convention held in Madison Square Garden in New York
Minister Žužul will be taking part as a guest at the National Convention of the Republican party that will nominate its current president George W. Bush at the pending presidential elections in November. The National Convention starts 30 August and ends 2 September 2004. During his stay in New York, Minister Žužul will meet with the U.S. administration high officials and members of the Republican party.
