Secretary of State Bakota familiarised Msgr. Hočevar with Croatia’s foreign policy goals and relations with the neighbour countries, and informed him about the government’s decision to extend visa requirements for the citizens of Serbia and Montenegro until 30 June this year.
Archbishop Hočevar informed Secretary of State Bakota about the position of Catholics in the Archdiocese of Belgrade, especially Croats that live there, and about his own ecumenical efforts and relations with the Orthodox Church of Serbia. Archbishop Hočevar is staying in Zagreb as a participant of the 44th Theological-Pastoral Clerical Week.
