Croatian Ambassador to the People's Republic of China Boris Velić handed today in Beijing his credentials to Chinese President Hu Jintao
Ambassador Velić sent Croatian President Stjepan Mesić’s regards to Chinese President Hu Jintao, as well as his invitation to visit Croatia. The Chinese President described the relations between Croatia and China as traditionally friendly, pointing out that since the establishment of the diplomatic relations 12 years ago, the relations between the two countries have steadily been developing on various fields of common interest. Expressing his gratitude for President Mesić’s regards, the Chinese President gladly accepted the invitation to visit Croatia.
