Croatian Ambassador to UNESCO, Mrs. Neda Ritz, entertained two groups of ambassadors...

During the Festival of Croatian Gastronomy in Paris from 12 to 25 May 2003, organised by the National Tourist Board of Croatia, the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to UNESCO, Mrs. Neda Ritz, entertained two groups of ambassadors of the member states of this organisations.

On 14 May, food and drinks from Croatia were offered to the Ambassador of the Holy See, Albania, Dominican Republic, Iran, Canada, China, Hungary, and Serbia-Montenegro, while on 21 May the degustation involved the Ambassadors of Afghanistan, Czech Republic, Honduras, Jamaica, Lithuania, Poland, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.

These friendly meetings are part of the activity of the Republic Of Croatia on the eve of 32nd General Assembly of UNESCO, scheduled on 29 September 2003. On this occasion the Republic of Croatia will nominate its candidates for four UNESCO bodies: Intergovernmental Council of International Program for the Development of Communications (the IPDC), Intergovernmental Council of the Hydrological Program (IHP), International Council for the Coordination of the Program Man and Biosphere (MAB), and Intergovernmental Board for Bioethics (IGBC).
