They discussed numerous issues of mutual interest, particularly those related to the accurate identification of the borderline which in the 1999 State Border Agreement was only marked in 1:25000 maps. The Joint Expert Group has made a ground inspection of the border in the past several months and prepared the necessary documentation for accurate identification of the borderline, and the description of the border, plus a list of coordinates as integral parts of the Agreement which had been missing. After the harmonisation of those documents the Agreement will be completed and ready for ratification by the parliaments in both states. These documents will also enable physical marking the border in the field.
Procedures have also been agreed on for a definite trilateral establishment/verification of the northern and southern three-border meeting points between Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia-Montenegro, pinpointed by the experts from all three sides.
They also discussed the project for clearing and regulating the river Unčica bed.
