On this occasion, Minister Picula emphasised that such manifestations, in which children and youth of Europe meet in a creative way, give incentive and guarantee successful building of future large European family in which all of its members, in conditions of equality, security and progress, shall preserve and develop the best shared values.
Today, the best advocates of these European values and guarantee of its durability are participants of these meetings: children and youth of today who are tomorrow’s responsible adults of the united Europe. Experience and friendship made on these occasions are lasting and useful.
Minister said that he believes that the culture of
peace, mutual understanding and respect of differences promoted through
these meetings, is a natural frame for their growing up, reflections
and subsequent actions.
