Mr. Darko Bekić, the Croatian Assistant Foreign Minister, and H.E. Alessandro Grafini, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic in Zagreb, exchanged documents on the ratification of the Social Security Agreement between the Republic of Croatia and the Italian Republic at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Social Security Agreement was signed on 27 June 1997 in Rome and the Administrative Agreement for the Application of the Social Security Agreement was signed on 12 September 2002.

The Social Security Agreement between the Republic of Croatia and the Italian Republic shall enter into force on 1 November 2003.
