They agreed to continue they talks within the Joint Expert Group for Fishery, with a view to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries in field of fishery. Only by taking full responsibility for preserving resources at the Adriatic Sea, both at bilateral and multilateral level, will the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Italy provide prospects for their fishermen.

By this, Italy has once again expressed its strong support to the Republic of Croatia on its path to Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as understanding for achieving national interests of our country which are not directed against neighbours, nor do they collide with the interests of the European Union wishing to achieve ecological protection of the Mediterranean.
