Photographs by Ms. Marija Braut was opened at the facilities of the Media Centre in Bern

On 16 October 2003, the exhibition of photographs by Ms. Marija Braut was opened at the facilities of the Media Centre in Bern. The author of the exhibition, Mr. Darko Bekić, Assistant Foreign Minister of the Republic of Croatia, and a representative of cultural and public life of Bern and diplomatic corps were present at the opening.

Ms. Braut presented herself for the first time in Switzerland with this exhibition of some twenty black and white photographs of Zagreb. Talks are underway to move and display the exhibition in Zürich.

In addition to the exhibition, to be opened until 30 October 2003, Croatian documentary films “Das Lied ist aus” by Ivan Faktor, “Bunarman” by Branko Ištvančić, “Krešo” by Ana Trkulja, Ana Blažić, Ines Samardžija and Mirjana Brekalo, and “Anine Pjesme” by Vlatka Vorkapić were showed, within the joint projection of documentary films of the country candidates for membership in the EU, and of Croatia as a guest, organised by the Croatian Embassy in Switzerland.
