On the first day of the 5th International Congress on Human Rights....

On the first day of the 5th International Congress on Human Rights, entitled “Human Rights for All – No Excuses”, organised by the Indian Institute of Human Rights and held 10-12 December 2003 in New Delhi, rewards for outstanding contribution to the promotion of the human rights were granted. Among those to receive the reward was the Croatian Ambassador to New Delhi, Dino Debeljuh.

In his address, Ambassador Debeljuh thanked the Congress and said that he received the reward as a Croatian Ambassador, that is, the representative of the Croatian President and Government, and therefore gives great importance to this reward because it reflects the international community’s opinion about the efforts of the Croatian institutions in one of the most sensitive segments of social life.
