Traditionally, the Fifth Annual Charity Fair, organized by the Women International Club (WIC) was held in Jakarta on November 15 and 16, 2017. About 30 Embassies presented their products as well as the local craftsmen from all over Indonesia (from Sumatra to Papua) with souvenirs, handicrafts, jewelry, food and drinks. The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Jakarta presented the products of the Croatian producer of jams and spreads Dida Boža, promotional material of the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Zagreb Tourist Board, and Croatian cakes from the Žuvela pastry shop from Bandung (owner of a patisserie is a Croatian citizen from Korcula, Mrs. Jadranka Žuvela). Visitors were able to taste the products.
The opening ceremony was opened by the first lady, the wife of the Indonesian president Mrs. Iriana Widodo. At the ceremony also attended spouses of Ambassadors, Embassy"s employees, as well as distinguished donors. All funds collected from the sale of the product are intended for charitable purposes.
