State Secretary Milas has met with the representatives of Croatian-Australian community in all major cities in Australia. In Perth, Mr. Milas and Mr. Penava, met with the MP of Western Australia, Mr. Antonio Tony Krsticevic, and former MP for WA Mrs. Ljiljan Ravlich. In Cockburn they have met with Mayor Logan Howlett and City councilors. In the city Ballarat, Victoria they had a meeting with the Mayor Mrs. Samanth McInthosh. In Canberra, they attended the opening of the 43rd Australian and New Zealand Soccer Tournament. They were the special guests at the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Croatia at the Croatian Club in Auckland. Croatian war veterans, Damir Plavsic and Damir Markuš, who were also in the delegation, presented the production "The Battle for Vukovar – how we defended our city", and educated about the heroic defense of the city of Vukovar.
