The Croatian Ambassador to the State of Israel, Vesela Mrden Korac, visited on 12 June 2019 the Gav-Yam Negev Advanced Technologies Park and the Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva.
During the meeting with the managing director of the technology park, Roy Zwebner and the representative of Basecamp, Itay Katzav, the possibilities of establishing a similar model in joint co-operation between Croatia and Israel were discussed.
While meeting the rector of the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, prof. Chaim Hames, the cooperation so far with the University of Zagreb and ist possible expansion to other interested partners was considered.
