On 17 May 2018, Director General of the Croatian Radiotelevision Kazimir Bacic visited Yad Vashem - The World Holocaust Remembrance Centre, accompanied by the Croatian Ambassador to Israel Vesela Mrden Korac. Mr. Bacic toured the Holocaust History Museum, participated in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance paying tribute to all Holocaust victims, visited the Children’s Memorial and signed the Guest Book. He also visited a part of the memorial garden with memorial plaques put in honour of the Croatian Righteous among the Nations and viewed the Oscar awarded to Branko Lustig, the Croatian producer and Holocaust survivor, for the film “Schindler"s List”.
In a short tour of the Jerusalem Old City, he met Franciscan from Croatia fathers Tomislav Vuk and SiniĊĦa Srebrenovic in the Holy Sepulchre Church.
Croatian Radiotelevision Director General has been on a working visit to Israel, upon the invitation by KAN, the Israeli State TV channel, and the co-organizer of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
