Ambassador Vesela Mrden Korac participated on May 1st, 2019 at the State Opening Ceremony of Holocaust Martyrs" and Heroes" Remembrance Day 2019 (Yom HaShoah), organized by the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial on the Mount of Remembrance in Jerusalem.
The President of the State of Israel Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered speeches, and six representatives of Jewish survivors lit up 6 torches in memory of 6 million Jewish Holocaust victims.
