Leading Croatian harpists, Ms Biserka Krcelic i Ms Tajana Vukelic Peic, performed at the well-attended concerts in Israel, in the residence of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia Mr Samuel Ivan Schlesinger, in Savion near Tel Aviv, on Friday, 20 November, and in the Felicja Blumental Music Centre, in Tel Aviv, on Saturday, 21 November. Croatian Harp Duo, internationally renowned, performed a recital consisting of compositions of Claude Debussy and Enrique Granados, among others, as well as of pieces of Croatian composers Ivana Lang and Rudolf Matz. During her stay in Israel, Ms Tajana Vukelic Peic, Organiser and Art Director of the Zagreb Harp Festival, also attended, as a guest of honour, prestigious 19th International Harp Contest, in Acre. Concerts of the Croatian harpists in Israel were sponsored by the "Croatia House" Fund, and supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Tel Aviv and the Croatian art organisation "Hathor".
