16-23 November 2015 – The third Croatian Film Week in Israel has been organised in Israel, in co-operation with Cinematheque Tel Aviv, Croatian Audio-Visual Center and Foundation Croatia House. The films are being shown simultaneously in three cities – Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa, and it was officially opened at the Cinematheque Tel Aviv, with the movie „The Priest"s Children“. At the opening Croatian Ambassador to the State of Israel addressed the audience saying that in Israel, the year of 2015 is a year of special relations of Croatian film industry with Israel: in summer 2015, Croatian film producer Branko Lustig donated his Oscar for the film Schindler"s List to the Memorial Centre Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, and now, in autumn 2015, seven Croatian films of a recent date will be screened in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa.
