Mr. Jospeph Sherman, an amateur painter from Jerusalem, in an expression of gratitude of the People of Israel for the courage of the Croatian citizens, the Righteous Among the Nations, who had been saving Jews during the Holocaust, donated to the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia to Israel his paintings "Bleeding Eye on Frame of Hope" and "Dreidel". During the meeting at the Embassy in Tel Aviv, 19 March, Ambassador Pjer šimunovic thanked Mr Sherman on his noble initiative, emphasising Croatia"s pride for its Righteous. Mr Sherman is a member of orthodox religious, haredi comunity, he is originally from Los Angeles, and is the owner of a company specialised in the corporate Internet public relations.
