Croatian Embassy in Ottawa and the Canadian Film Institute jointly presented Croatian film “What Iva recorded” on November 5, 2006 at the Library and Archive Canada. The film was brought to Canada in the colaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Department of the International Cultural Cooperation.

Over 150 visitors from Canadian administration, diplomatic community and Croatian diaspora in Ottawa enjoined the movie directed by a young generation Croatian author Mr Tomislav Radic.
Croatian Ambassador adressed the audience and stressed that a new youg generation of Croatian authors appeared on the stage. She also mentioned that Croatian animation film is very well recognized troughout the world. Mr Thomas McScorley, director of the Canadian Film Institute expressed his satisfaction that Croatian movie will be presented in Ottawa for the first time in the colaboration with the Institute. He also adviced the Institute is interesed in presenting Croatian film to other Canadian cities. The film was beeing anounced in “The Citizen” and the “Embassy” journal.
