On 5 December 2016 Croatian Embassy in Tokyo, together with another 28 Embassies, participated at the humanitarian „Ikebana International Fair“ titled "Flowers for Kumamoto" selling some Croatian products such as wine, homemade rolls and lace from the Varaždin Region. This humanitarian was aimed at raising funds for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Kumamoto on the southern Kyushu Island earlier this year.
