Ambassador Hrastic visited Kobe and Hyogo Prefecture as part of the project “EU Comes to Your School“

Ambassador Dražen Hrastic gave a lecture to the high school students in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture in southeastern Japan on 14 and 15 November 2016. The lectures were part of the project “EU Comes to Your School“ launched by the EU Delegation to Japan. The lectures were attended by approximately 1000 students who have shown a great interest in structure, functions and the future of the European Union. They have also shown a strong interest in learning more about Croatia as the newest member of the EU. During his stay in Kobe Ambassador Hrastic has also met with Mr. Kizo HIsamoto, mayor of Kobe, Mr. Kazuo Kanazawa, Deputy Governor of Hyogo Prefecture and the leadership of Hyogo and Kobe Chamber of Commerce and Industry. All interlocutors have agreed to work towards strengthening and deepening of the cooperation through agreed list of activities and projects in field of economy, culture and sport.
