Croatian Director Hana Jušic has won the Best Director Award at this year’s Tokyo International Film Festival that closed on Thursday, 3 November. She was awarded for her debut feature film Quit Starring at my Plate that was screened in the official competition programme of the Festival. Previously, on its European premiere at the Venice Film Festival, Quit Starring at my Plate was selected as the Best European movie by the Federation of Film Critics of Europe and the Mediterranean.
