Within framework of the 6th International Conference organized by the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development that was held in Dubrovnik on September 7th 2007 under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integrations of the Republic of Croatia conducted a thematic workshop entitled ‘Role of Croatian Economic Diplomacy in connecting exporters with the international buyers'.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integrations of the Republic of Croatia was represented with the Croatian ambassadors in Egypt, Serbia and Libya: H.E Dražen Margeta, H.E. Tonci Stanicic and H.E. Jovan Vejnovic respectively, and economic counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Turkey Ms. Dinka Franulic.
The Workshop was established for some thirty representatives of Croatian exporters and institutions that are dealing with international economic cooperation. The possibilities of conduction business in Egypt, Serbia, Libya and Turkey was discusses, based upon the country specific presentations offered by Croatian Ambassadors and economic representatives.
