Ambassador Jasna Ognjanovac made a courtesy visit on January 13 to the Governor of the Plovdiv region Ms. Dana Kanaziereva and the Mayor of Plovdiv Mr. Zdravko Dimitrov. The excellent bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Bulgaria were reaffirmed in both meetings, as well as the mutual wish to develop economic cooperation between Croatian municipalities and cities, especially between the Plovdiv district and the Zadar County though because of the huge, and insufficiently explored potential that exists.<br />

During the visit, the Ambassador took part in the final manifestation related to „Plovdiv – European City of Culture 2019“, in which the title “European City of Culture” was conveyed to the Croatian city of Rijeka and the Irish city of Galway.</p>
