U.S. Congressmen Pledge Support for Croatia´s NATO Membership Bid
Two U.S. congressmen have pledged their full support for Croatia´s NATO membership bid during their meeting with Ambassador Neven Jurica in Washington on Wednesday, the Croatian Embassy said.
Jurica met the co-chairmen of the Croatian Congressional Caucus, George Radanovich and Peter Visclosky, for talks on the Caucus´s plans, bilateral cooperation between Croatia and the United States, and Croatia´s efforts to join NATO.
The Caucus was founded earlier this year with the aim of promoting relations between the U.S. and Croatia and supporting Croatia on its path to membership of NATO and the European Union.
Congressman David Reichert, from the state of Washington, joined the Caucus on Wednesday as its 49th member.
