The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Albania has celebrated the Statehood Day on 10 June 2019 with a concert and reception held at the Concert Hall "Tonin Harapi" in Tirana. The concert of folklore group "Filip Devic" from Split, followed by reception, was attended by about 200 guests, including the representatives of the ministries, diplomatic corps, representatives of cultural life, businessmen, journalists and Croats in Albania. The ceremony began with the Croatian and Albanian anthems, performed by group "Filip Devic" and students of the Music School "Jordan Misja". Following the hymns, the Ambassador Sanja Bujas - Juraga gave a speech in which she reminded of the traditionally good and friendly relations between the Republic of Croatia and Republic of Albania and mentioned the highest-level bilateral meetings held in the year 2018-2019. The reception program was enriched with the exhibition of Croatian tourist posters, Croatian wines and brochures of Croatian Economic Chamber (HGK) and Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ). In addition to a dinner, guests were also offered with sweets donated by the Kras Food Industry from Zagreb. The performance of Croatian singers with songs from Dalmatia, also represented an additional tourist promotion of the Republic of Croatia.
