Croatian Embassy hosted fashion design duo Maja Merlic and Andreja Bistricic with their label DIORALOP during their participation at the London Fashion Week 2015 as part of the Lewis & Leigh Showroom. Ambassador Dr. Ivan Grdešic praised the success and creativity of young designers and stressed the importance fashion industry occupies in the world economy.
DIORALOP, is inspired by Polaroid pictures, which were created through intentional spills of chemicals and their exposure to different temperatures. This technique yields various colours and patterns, which are digitally printed in the UK, using various luxurious fabrics. DIORALOP is based in Zagreb, Croatia and present their collections in London and Paris during Fashion Week each season.
