Minister Pusic holds talks with British MPs
Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusic 17 October 2012 met with a group of British MPs, headed by the president of the All-party Parliamentary Group for Croatia and Croatia's Honorary Consul Scotland, Lord Dundee.
Pusic informed her hosts about Croatia's EU negotiations process and what it had meant for Croatia in terms of institution building and the maturing of society. She also commented on the European Commission April and October progress reports, pointing out that Croatia was ready to fulfill all the commitments and become a full-fledged EU member the following year.
The MPs asked Pusic about her views on the crisis in the European Union and the monetary union. They also inquired about Croatia's position on further EU enlargement and its role in the process.
After the meeting, Pusic attended the parliament's question time.
Later in the day, Pusic is to meet with Foreign Secretary Hague, as well as deliver a lecture and hold a meeting at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
