Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Ireland Ivan Mašina met with the Chief Executive of Depaul Croatia and Head of Rijeka House of Refuge Sr Veronika Mila Popic, PhD.
Ambassador Ivan Mašina and Chief Executive Sr Veronika Mila Popic discussed the current and future activities of the Depaul International and the Depaul Croatia, a charity that is a part of the Depaul International global family of charities working with homeless and marginalised people in the UK, Ireland, France, Slovakia, Ukraine, Croatia and the USA. They also discussed the activities of the Refuge of the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Vincent de Paul in Rijeka as well as the Rijeka"s involvement in the Institute for Global Homelessness"s initiative A Place to Call Home.
