Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Ireland Ivan Mašina met with the Chief Executive of Galway 2020 Hannah Kiely.
Ambassador Ivan Mašina and Chief Executive Hannah Kiely discussed the current and future activities of the Galway 2020 Team. They also discussed the new possibilities for cultural exchanges between artists and other cultural professionals from Galway and Rijeka.
Galway, the Irish city on the west of Ireland, was co-designated with Rijeka as the European Capital of Culture in 2020. Both Rijeka and Galway have many similarities – in terms of location, average number of rainy days, size, population and culture. Both cities are also known for it"s rich culture and it"s abundance of cultural festivals.
