Start-up Nations Summit 2016 in Cork, Ireland

On 19th November 2016 Cork, Ireland, hosted the 2016 Start-up Nations Summit organised by the Global Entrepreneurship Network. The annual Start-up Nations Summit (SNS) has more than 30,000 events (with 10 million participants across the network of 160+ countries) worldwide. The pinnacle of the annual Start-up Nations Summit (SNS) is the Start-up Nations Awards. These awards celebrate the accomplishments of start-up champions from around the world -- those leaders who have applied their knowledge of start-up and scale-ups to shape innovative public sector-driven programs and policies. Efka Heder, Director of the South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, was nominated for the prestigious Ground-breaking Policy award. This award recognises individuals or organizations for their instrumental analysis, innovative policy approaches or ground-breaking program concepts that significantly expand the frontier of entrepreneurship policy thinking around the world. The Croatian delegation was represented by the officials from the Ministry of economy, entrepreneurship and trade, South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning and the City of šibenik: Antonija Mršic, Sandra Roncevic, Maja Ljubic Cmelar, Matija Bumbak, Antonio Barišic. Ambassador Mašina attended the event in support of the Croatian nominee.
