First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Pusic is attending a meeting of the General Affairs Council in Brussels. Ahead of the session, Pusic said that the ministers, based on established facts and responsibility for the tragedy in Ukraine, would discuss imposing a third phase of sanctions. There are two scenarios: adding more names to the list of the persons and companies covered by the sanctions, or introducing economic sanctions.
What is known thus far is that the black boxes have been handed over to a Malaysian company and that the transport of mortal remains has begun, Pusic said, pointing out that the most important thing was to return them to their homeland and then conduct an investigation to determine all of the circumstances of the tragedy.
