The Council of Europe headquarters hosted an evening of Croatian culture and gastronomy themed “Soirée de rentrée – Couleurs de la Croatie”, co-organized by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Croatia to the Council of Europe and Amicale as part of Croatia’s six-month Council of Europe chairmanship.
The cultural part of the event saw performances by the musical-pantomime theatre škripzikl and dance group Tala. The gastronomic part featured a buffet of products donated by PIK Vrbovec, Dukat, Paška Sirana, Podravka, Franck, Kraš, Jamnica, Cedevita, Zagrebacka Pivovara and Kapronca – participants in the “Buy Croatian” project of the Croatian Chamber of Economy. Also included was a promotional stand with products by said companies, brochures by the Croatian Tourist Board and Zagreb Tourist Board, as well as promotional material on Croatia’s CoE chairmanship. A promotional video by the Croatian Tourist Board was being screened throughout the event. The guests also had the opportunity to do a quiz on Croatia and win valuable awards.
Permanent Croatian Representative to the Council of Europe Miroslav Papa addressed the event, co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Ministry of Culture and Croatian Chamber of Economy.
