State Secretary for Political Affairs Mrs. Zdravka Bušic has on January 27, 2020 opened the exhibition “Righteous among the Nations – Croatia” at United Nations Headquarters in New York. On this date UN commemorates the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust. Republic of Croatia joined the UN commemoration with exhibition that will be opened until January 31, 2020.
Exhibition was prepared by Mrs Branka Sömen bringing us names of all Croatians bearing this honourable title and 24 individual stories of those willing to help their friends, neighbours, and even complete strangers. Exhibition was prepared in cooperation with Memorial Centre Yad Vashem Jerusalem.
