Jorge Sampaio, the UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations, held a meeting with the Permanent Representatives of the UN Members State who are also part of the Group of Friends of Alliance of Civilizations. The Permanent Representative of Croatia, Ambassador Neven Jurica was present at the meeting.

The Permanent Representative of Croatia, Ambassador Neven Jurica was present at the meeting.
UN High Representative Sampaio reported on current issues, and views were exchanged on the activities of the Alliance. Taking into consideration that Croatia became a member of the Group of Friends in May 2008, UN High Representative Sampaio used the opportunity to welcome Croatia to this group.
