15th Croatian Armed Forces-CAF Contingent was sent to the area of ISAF peacekeeping operation in Afghanistan on Friday, February 26. The majority of 15th HRVCON was deployed in the Regional Command North in Mazar-e Sharif, while the rest were deployed in the Regional Command in Kabul.

Members of the 15th Contingent assume the duties of the previous Croatian contingent. CAF members deployed in ISAF are assigned to the duties of military police and operational mentor liaison teams. Commander of the 15th HRVCON is Colonel Berislav Jezidzic.
