State Secretary Matušić meets with Hasan Çilez, Chair of GNAT’s Turkey-Croatia Interparliamentary Friendship Group

On Tuesday, 7 October 2025, the State Secretary for Political Affairs, Frano Matušić, held a meeting with Hasan Çilez, Chair of the Turkey-Croatia Interparliamentary Friendship Group of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.
 
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum of bilateral meetings and visits, emphasizing the potential for further strengthening economic cooperation and trade exchange, including in the defense industry. They also exchanged views on developments in the Western Balkans and on global issues, particularly the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East. Both sides agreed that the stability and prosperity of the Western Balkans represent a shared interest of Croatia and Türkiye.
