Gordan Bakota, the Croatian ambassador to Turkey, said during a visit to Konya yesterday that he expects positive developments in Brussels next week for both Turkey and Croatia. Expressing Croatia's support for Turkey's European Union membership, Bakota said he wants to promote cultural and economic ties between the two countries and invited Turkish businessmen to Croatia.
