Croatia's interests and ambitions do not stop at the borders of Europe, because it wants to cooperate with all countries, Croatian President Stjepan Mesic said in a talk at the University of Baku in Azerbaijan on Wednesday.
President Mesic emphasized that Croatian foreign policy was based on three pillars -- regional policy, European policy and global policy. Speaking of global policy, Croatian president stressed that Croatia was extending its hand of cooperation to all countries in the world ready to cooperate on an equal footing.
President Mesic pointed out that Croatia saw its future, as well as the future of the whole Western Balkans region, in the European Union and that it was willing to assist its neighbours in European integration processes.
At the end of his two-day visit to Baku, President Mesic met Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade.
