The Croatian Community in Vancouver celebrated Alojz Stepinac on February 11th, 2007.
The Croatian Parish Holy Heart of Mary and Father Pavisa Norac organized a church celebration where more than 550 members of the Croatian Community celebrated the beatified Alojz Stepinac.
Following the church celebration, a festive reception was held at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver. Host Father Pavisa, as well as Father Miro of the Franciscan Mission in Germany and Ambassador Mrden Korac of Ottawa addressed the dinner guests followed by a commemorative performance by the Croatian Cultural Club of Vancouver.
