Ministers Cobankovic visited the most developed organic fruit and vegetable farms, producers of milk and dairy products and the centre for artificial cattle insemination. Talks continued between the two Ministers as well as representatives of Canadian businesses in the agricultural industry. As a result, the two countries agreed to begin the negotiation process as soon as possible to achieve a suitable bilateral Agreement in the agricultural sector with emphasis on collaboration in sharing Canada's experience and knowledge in organizing and stimulating organic products in Croatia, as well as a joint venture in manufacturing and distribution of meat products in the region. Minister Cobankovic also met with the Forestry Minister of British Columbia, Mr. Richard Coleman who expressed his readiness to offer Croatia the knowledge and policy on fire-prevention techniques.
